New residential and commercial building Hugo-Cassirer-Str. in 13687 Berlin

Description

The “New Hugo-Cassirer-Straße residential and commercial building” project in Berlin’s Hakenfelde district is an outstanding example of modern, urban construction in a water-rich environment. Between 2018 and 2021, a total of five buildings with 149 rental apartments, 50 of which are subsidized, and three commercial units used as studio apartments were built on the Havelspitze peninsula. The architecture, characterized by clear lines and a two-storey brick base, makes reference to the listed industrial building from 1928 opposite and blends harmoniously into the existing cityscape.

NANE BAU GmbH was responsible for carrying out the shell construction work for this challenging project. With our expertise, we made a significant contribution to turning the architectural vision into reality and creating a modern place to live and work.

Particular attention was paid to sustainability and energy efficiency: The buildings comply with the KfW Efficiency House 55 standard, have effective thermal insulation and are supplied with district heating. Extensive greenery was planted on the roof surfaces, which not only contributes to energy efficiency but also improves the microclimate.

With this project, NANE BAU GmbH underlines its expertise in the implementation of complex construction projects that meet both high architectural standards and the needs of the residents. The residential and commercial buildings in Hugo-Cassirer-Strasse are exemplary of our commitment to creating liveable and sustainable spaces in urban contexts.
