The “Pandion The Grid” project at Prinzenstraße 34 in Berlin-Kreuzberg was completed in 2021 and represents a modern commercial courtyard that takes up the tradition of Berlin’s commercial courtyards. The building offers around 13,600 m² of office space and 400 m² of catering space on five floors. The architecture, designed by Eike Becker Architekten, is characterized by a clear structure and a striking metal façade reminiscent of stacked frames.
NANE BAU GmbH was proud to take responsibility for the structural work on this ambitious project. Our expertise was instrumental in turning the architectural vision of Eike Becker_Architekten into reality. With precision and commitment, we ensured that the complex requirements of the project were met in terms of structure and design.
The building offers around 13,250 m² of office space on five floors, spread over 32 commercial units. Special features include the two-storey entrance on the courtyard side, an innovative moss wall to bind fine dust in the passageway and a green roof terrace with spectacular views. The building also has an underground garage with 225 bicycle and 80 car parking spaces, with the underground garage ramp designed to be particularly bicycle-friendly with an incline of just 11%.
With the “Pandion The Grid” project, NANE BAU GmbH underlines its ability to successfully implement challenging construction projects while meeting both functional and aesthetic requirements. This project exemplifies our commitment to creating high-quality, sustainable spaces in an urban context.
